Last Week

It was a stalwart group of Rotarians that braved the wind and rain to attend last Friday's roundtable meeting at the Mira Vista Golf and Country Club. It was officially the first unofficial meeting of the New Year. After being amply lubricated by Gil in the big room bar the ten of us spilled into the nicely appointed meeting room behind the bar. The food was ordered from the main dining room menu and was enjoyed by all.  Presiding at the head of the table President Stoney began a round of joke and story telling that was
mostly clean but sometimes a little ribald.

Here's a little sample:
A man in a raincoat approached 3 elderly ladies sitting on a park bench and flashed them.
Two had strokes immediately
but the third one couldn't reach that far!

It was a great way to start the year. I think we should devote an official meeting to this format. Happy New Year to all!
