Rotary Youth Exchange Student












Sebastian Ilzig, age 17 3/4, is a Rotary Youth Exchange Student from Rotary District 1820, Hanau (near Frankfort), Germany. He is Sponsored by our Rotary Club of Richmond as well as the Rotary Club of Hanau, Germany. Sebastian is a senior at Redwood High School in Larkspur, Marin County. His counselor is our Werner Schwarz and he is hosted by Terri and Steve Tiret of Mill Valley.

Sebastian's hobbies are golf, soccer, travel and music. He comes from a family where both grandfathers are Rotarians and one is a Past District Governor. He will narrate a short video of his home town of Hanau, the German center for gold and silver industries.

Registrants from our District are eligible for the Visa known as Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) provided they hold a US Passport. They can apply online or through a travel agent. To apply online have them visit:  http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/index.html.
Both a Passport and Visa are required, and you don't want to be "stopped at the gate" because a Visa has not been ordered early enough for travel to Australia.
