` Last Meeting: On a foggy pre-Labor day weekend, high atop the hills Prez DAVID BROWN called the small but mighty band of Rotarians to order. Vice-Prez STONEY led us in the pledge. The thought for the day…"The best security for old age is to respect your children!" Visiting Rotarians: We had one visiting Rotarian join us. Michel Burleson from San Pablo…obviously an acquaintance of our Prez. Guests: Announcements Mr. Sunshine DAVID K reported on ailing Rotarians STONEY and ELOF, both of who were in attendance so obviously the best cure for what ails you is to attend our meeting. STONEY fessed up to having a "super sized" August with an anniversary, birthday, daughter's wedding, surgery, and family reunion. Whatever he paid…hopefully reflected a "super size!" JOHN NICOL reported that LOREN STRAUGN was also on the mend. Hope to see you soon LOREN! Reminder: Friday, September 13 we will be at La Strada!!! Prez DAVID informed all that we can triple dip…all single donations to Polio, Paul Harris and the Bavarian raffle tickets can count for all three. So give generously because you get a 3 for 1. Who devised that inflated revenue accounting system????? We were also reminded to get in GSE application. On the volunteer front, you can contact DAN ERCOLINI about volunteering for the Artrain and we still need legit software and licenses for our computers at Peres School. Recognitions Richmond Rotary Lotto With a small group, big bucks (over $1,000) and few balls. That doesn't sound right. Prez DAVID first pulled names from the wrong bucket…when he got it right he picked DONNA BELL (1 in 5 chance) who grabbed the white….so; bring your big bucks because we will have fewer balls next week.
